DNS Leak Test

See which DNS resolvers your browser is actually using right now.

This tool shows your public IP and DNS resolution results from several popular public resolvers for a quick comparison. When you press the button below, your public IP is sent to third-party services (ipify, Cloudflare, Google) for the check. A thorough DNS leak test (e.g. while using a VPN) requires a dedicated authoritative DNS server and is best paired with a DNS traffic monitoring tool.

About DNS Leak Test

DNS Leak Test shows which DNS resolvers your browser is actually using right now. If you are on a VPN but the resolvers shown still belong to your home ISP, you have a DNS leak - your domain name requests remain visible to your ISP even though the rest of your traffic is encrypted. This test helps verify that your VPN or encrypted DNS setup (DoH/DoT) is working as intended.

How to use

  1. 1 Paste or type the data you want to process into the input field.
  2. 2 Adjust the available options (format, length, algorithm, etc.) to suit your needs.
  3. 3 Results appear instantly in your browser - everything runs locally and no data is sent to a server.

Free tools from Computing ID

DNS Leak Test is one of dozens of network, security, and developer utilities provided free of charge by Computing ID (PT Intprism Computing Technology). Every tool can be used without creating an account or logging in. For tools that run entirely in the browser, your data is never sent to our servers; for tools that need to call a server (such as a DNS lookup or SSL check), only the target you enter is processed, and it is not stored. If you need infrastructure to run your own services, Computing ID also offers Linux and Windows VPS, cPanel hosting, email hosting, S3 Object Storage, WireGuard VPN, and domain registration, with data centers in Indonesia and Singapore and 24/7 technical support.
