About Domain Transfer
Domain Transfer moves the management of your domain from another registrar to computing.id without changing ownership. During the process (usually 5-7 business days for gTLDs like .com/.net, faster for .id domains), your existing DNS stays active so your website and email experience no downtime. Most gTLD transfers also add 1 year to your registration, so you never lose the remaining term you have already paid for. The main requirements: the domain must be at least 60 days old since registration or its last transfer, the transfer lock must be disabled at the current registrar, and you must have the EPP/Auth Code. For .id domains, transfer approval is sent by email to the registered contact. Once the transfer is complete, all DNS settings, nameservers, and auto-renewal are managed from a single computing.id client area alongside your other hosting or VPS services.
